Do you shoot in your old style or the new "dream" style?
Both! Both styles are me! :) I aim to combine both of the creamy "film style" images, as well as the sharp and bright style to all my galleries. I am happy to do one or the other as well to accommodate client preference. After being a photographer for so long, I always find a great joy trying out new things as my creativity adapts over time! <3 I started experiementing with the creamy dream film style in mid 2025, which is most of what you see from my brand currently. However, you are still able to find my bright and light style from my previous years work in my portfolio!
how long till I receive my final full gallery?
I am just as excited about your photos as you are, and cannot wait to give them to you! I send off sneak peaks within 24-48 hours of our shoot. For weddings turn around is usually 5-8 weeks, while most other shoots are 2-3 weeks depending on my editing queue! If photos are needing to be rush ordered, please send me a message.
What photo protection do you have?
I shoot with a Canon Mirrorless camera that utilizes dual SD slots. This means that your photos are being saved onto two SD cards at once as the photos are being taken. After shooting photos are then backed up onto a SSD hard drive where I hang onto them for safe keeping even after you receive your gallery!
How long will my gallery website remain active?
I utilize Pixieset for all my client galleries. Typically, galleries remain active for 6 months after you receive photos. I send out an email notification giving notice of deactivation. I always recommend downloading a full gallery as soon as possible. In the case where photos didn't get downloaded at time of deactivation, I will reprocess you a new gallery for a $30 reupload fee.
Do you offer Prints & products?
Currently I do not offer these services. However, prints and products can be purchased through the Gallery website through a third party. I personally use Walgreens and Shutterfly for all my own photo needs!
I am not comfortable using a online gallery, do you have other delivery options?
Absolutley! Digital footprints and data leaks are becoming more and more common. In this case I am happy to upload photos to a flashdrive. *All boudoir sessions will be uploaded on a flashdrive rather than online galleries*
Pricing & Booking
Do you require a deposit?
Yes! I kindly ask that 1/3 of the session price be paid at the time of booking. Deposit is nonrefundable (unless there is an extreme circumstance). The remainder of your session cost will be paid at the time of gallery delivery.
How far in Advance should I book?
Wedding dates book up quick! I suggest booking 6-8 months out from your session date. However, I do keep a small handful of dates free per month in order to make room for last minute bookings!
do you offer discounts or custom packages?
Yes! I offer 20% off to all returning clients as a thank you for trusting me with all your photo needs. If you are looking for a custom package, please message me your budget and what you are looking for. I would love to work with you!
Will you shoot my session for Free?
Maybe! I will offer to shoot your wedding for free if the location is in on my dream shooting lists. You just pay for all travel expenses! List includes Montana, Wyoming, Tennessee, Italy, Norway, & the Colorado Mountains. If you have a creative design, or venue that you feel represents my style, pitch your idea to me!
*Pay what you can Senior Sessions*
I truly deep in my heart believe that photos are such a necessary part of life. Everyone deserves to have a professional portrait of themselves. If you are a senior in high school who may be facing financial hardship, causing you to avoid getting senior photos done, please message me for a PWYC session. These sessions are 30 minutes long at a location of your choosing.
Session Planning
What do I wear to my session?
Wear outfits that you feel are flattering and make you feel confident! For a timeless look, I suggest wearing neutral colors, and clothes that are logo free! Feel free to bring an extra outfit for outfit changes!
How do you handle bad weather or emergency changes?
Life happens! I am incredibly understanding if we need to reschedule your shoot and would work on doing so in a timely matter. In the case where I need to reschedule, I kindly ask for the same understanding in return! For non-reschedulable shoots like events, weddings, engagements, etc. I have a list of associate photographers that are happy to step in on an emergency circumstance.
When is the best time to get photos done?
All the time! However, I always recommend getting photos done two hours before sunset or right during sunrise!
Do you have location suggestions?
Absolutely! My location recommendations are local to the central Washington area. I would love to guide you through picking the best area for your session!
Me & my Gear
What Gear do you shoot with?
I shoot with a dual harness that has my main Canon mirrorless camera, as well as a backup Nikon camera attached to it. My camera shoots 45 MP with a full frame sensor, meaning you will have very high quality images! Often times I will switch out my Nikon for one of my four different film cameras. I also utilize a DJI drone, flashes, and glass lens filters to expand the creative horizons for my client galleries.
Do you bring backup gear?
Yes. I always bring two digital cameras and multiple lenses in preparation for a worst-case scenario. In addition to this, I carry multiple batteries, chargers, sd cards, and any extra gear that may be needed.
